Ok, took my 85x out for a spin (it was a LTI token)

DANG that little ship is nice. I had an easier time taking out ships in that thing then I do in some dedicated combat vessels. The toughness of that thing is also just off the charts. It's definitely a worthy ship. The fact that it can carry a passenger is a bonus as well.

lol, it has 4 ballistic longswords!!! If I effectively could use gimbals, then I would replace all fixed S2 slots with gimballed S1 longswords. Also its size, speed and agility make it hard to hit.

I can work on exporting my custom anna file. I fixed the lag and backtalk on most major functions. I was working with voice attack when it was in early beta. Eliminate most of the chat and confirmations and streamlined the delays. Voice attack by itself works much quicker without anna or any other voice pack. Voice packs are not needed use a speaker beep if confirmation is needed.

Same with my X52Pro I went through and set up curve profiles for all of my ships and then for dogfighting and racing.

This is why I am waiting for 3.0 to drop. I will redo all of the settings for 3.0

Sooo.. Took the gladiator out for a brief spin & threw some S5 CS torps & CS S2's around in arena commander.

My god.
Those things are lethal.

Definitely looking forward to pumping some S9's into a Hull E


Edit: Additionally, Proximity detonation, so in theory throwing a really big torp at something dodging won't guarantee survival

Yeah, what Owl said. This is totally backward from the 2.6 chart, but this is what the 2,6,2 chart says. I also just noted that the 2.6.2 weapons figures are all completely different from the CIG DPC calculator, so I have to figure the googledoc is the most current and correct. Needs its own thread.

Thanks a lot for the offer, but right now I heavily concentrated on the perfect controller setup, meaning adapting setup on play style. Combat is HOSAS, regular PU flight is HOTAS, FPS is mouse and G13. Every important control is bound to one of my primary controllers. Right now I'm at 10 controllers without the tablets.
My voice is intended for communication, since january I'm doing a lot team flight. Voice attack and communication could be too confusing for my poor brains :cold_sweat:

Thanks a lot for the offer, but right now I heavily concentrated on the perfect controller setup, meaning adapting setup on play style. Combat is HOSAS, regular PU flight is HOTAS, FPS is mouse and G13. Every important control is bound to one of my primary controllers. Right now I'm at 10 controllers without the tablets.
