Our Auroras have thrusters & fuel. We can burn down the forests that hide our targets.
Pilot - "Co-pilot, as we approach that out cropping of vegetation, dump the space toilet reserve tank contents."
Farmer - "Oh shit! Not again."

Am I the only only one that thought of this?
trees are concealment mostly. meaning you can not see through them. but you can shoot through all the leaves (and in a realistic setting a bullet can go through a small tree and anything behind it)
Exactly that!!! So not through a very thick tree :grin:
but you can still hide behind it if they don't know you are there. :D

Don't do that! You'll miss out on 7 years worth of fidelity development.
Why must all trees be a mandatory 18 inches thick? I'm not planning on climbing them to get space kitties down. I'll just treat them like Tackleberry from Police Academy instead.

Anything less and they are not effective as cover, only concealment. Particularly against the large caliber guns on vehicles.
18 Inch is 45 cm... in my imagination a thick tree is one which I can't embrace, which would be at least 1.5 meter is 60 inches, but 18 inch will do to start with.
