Its your duty to go fuck yourself!

Im going out to the street now and tell random people to do this!
I too will tell every person I see while out and about that they must be a spectacular wanker to be so healthy and untouched by COVID-19! Especially if they are not wearing a mask - their secret must be their very strong wrists and constant solo sessions!

Meanwhile in better news.

“As a result, a 28-year old female has been charged with the offence of incitement and has been bailed to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court on 25 January 2021.

“Those still thinking of attending the protest in Ballarat on Saturday can expect a swift and firm response from police.”
Good!

- Canada: Chief Medical Officer says the of transmission risk during physical relations in the pandemic is similar to any action which involves being close to another person, not to kiss, and to wear masks while fornicating to reduce the risk of catching COVID-19. Goes on to advise solo self pleasuring is by far the safest course of sexual satisfaction action during the pandemic.
Sorry honey but it's by medical orders we only do it doggy style.

Meantime, in India:

Most countries had a spike, a pullback, and another spike. India is just one ongoing wave and a massive population in a dangerous situation.

COVID Catharsis Corner - Reports from around the world from today Thursday 3rd of September:

- World: 26,102,099 confirmed cases and 864,415 confirmed deaths.

- US: States asked to remove red tape and prepare to allow for potential vaccine distribution as early as late October/ early November, with certain at risk groups planned to receive treatments before the election, if the planned scenario unfolds as expected. Concerns are raised over rushing a vaccine into operation to meet an artificial deadline over ensuring it is safe and effective.

- India: Country close to overtaking Brazil for second most confirmed cases after USA.

- UK: Head of the test and trace system apologizes after it emerged UK labs were struggling to meet demand and some people were told to travel as far as 100 miles for a COVID-19 test with one man being advised by the booking website to take his sick toddler 200 miles for a COVID test. Government defended the issues as caused by having to focus efforts on places which were seeing spikes in cases leaving lower level areas with fewer resources. One woman was denied a postal test as she had already had one and told to travel 40 miles to a drive-thru center, however she could not drive. No local walk-in centers existed so she was, finally, permitted another postal test.

- France: A professor who promoted hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 to face ethics committee investigation after a mass complaint accused him of breaking 9 rules of medical ethics.

- UK: Daily cases still climbing as last 24 hours sees 1,735 confirmed.

- India: Sees a record day of 83,883 infections.

- EU: The Public Health Agency for the Europan Union advises cases are back to March levels, when the continent was in the grip of the contagion.

- World: Amnesty International reports at least 7,000 medical workers have been lost to COVID around the world.

- Scotland: 300 people attend house party prompting police investigation.

- Isle Of Man: Rule change means people returning to the island can reduce their Quarentine from 14 days to 7 days with restrictions, if at the end of the 7 days they pay for their own COVID test and it comes back negative. If they don't take a test or it comes back positive it's still 14 days.

- Australia: Extends ban on overseas travel for another 3 months.

- Thailand: First local transmission cases reported following a clear period of over 100 days.

- US: Actor and wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his family test positive for COVID despite taking precautions.

- Spain: Employment Minister states the Furlough scheme has been extended for 'as long as it takes' and that 'it doesn't make sense to put dates on' as with no vaccine there is no certainty.

So, a while ago I wrote some posts complaining about "young people acting irresponsibly" by going on Spring Break to Florida and not following guidelines/acting irresponsibly.

In the interests of fairness and equity, I'm now going to write a post complaining about OLDER PEOPLE acting irresponsibly and not following guidelines or precautions.

Every year, people travel to Sturgis North South Dakota (never can keep those 2 states aparrt) for a huge motorcycle rally (see https://www.sturgismotorcyclerally.com/dates). The dates in 2020 were August 7 - 16, so I would expect a surge in cases in that area within about 2 weeks .... and guess what:
Screenshot_2020-09-04 An interactive visualization of the exponential spread of COVID-19 91-DI...png

graph is from https://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visualization/ which is another great website for tracking/data

EDIT: I should point out, the biggest problem with this was not just that it would raise the COVID rate of the host state/city, but that people would get infected there, and carry it around with them to other states or carry it back home with them...which we apparently can see in neighboring states, like North Dakota, Iowa, etc. In any event, it looks like we likely have another circumstance in which a smaller number of people are likely go to infect a much larger number of people, and continue the spread right up until the expected second wave of infections this Fall.

However, it is not the Foreign Secretary's concern. A Government employee for example can be dead for days before anyone notices them kind of stiffly sitting at their desk looking at the same computer screen on Thursday as they were on Monday. Commercial employees can just stiffen up and do the same.
