Thanks guys
Daaaaaaaaamn. That is gorgeous! I'll take one please. Haha.
Makes my project kind of boring by comparison! I'll take on too!!!
No delivery, pickup-only. My "desk" weights too much. Build to get split up in 6 main parts. The base plate alone was a challenge for my back

That's why I choose to build something else, sssssssssssssht top secret, almost paint-ready, I also know who to blame for it.
Haha, blame me. It's my fault. Probably. Haha.
Nope, I got my inspiration from:
Here is a side panel. I rebuilt it today to make it wider to accommodate the new panels and switches. I'll build the right side panel tomorrow for the stick and then begin work on the center console. The panels that are in right now are just to give an idea of placement and size. I'm no carpenter, so it's not going to win any beauty contests, but it's functional.

The starboard panel. Following the concept of a cockpit/desk, I'm building small storage spaces under the light boxes that I'm installing the new switch panels into.

We'll, that's flattering. I used that design for a while and then decided I could do better. I've been rebuilding for about 6 months now. I'll see if I can get some pictures up tonight.

Yours looks better than anything I can put together.

Edit: here you go

I built the subwoofer into the cabinet and glued everything so no vibration. The center, left and right front and rear speakers will be built into the pit as well. The 2 empty spaces on the left/right consoles fit 2 raspberry pi's that I'm programming to be graphical game controllers using kivy/python and an arduino. I just got in the next screen for the MCFD, and the center screen can dmirrioe either the left or right pi, or be an auxiliary screen for the gaming rig. I'm building the rig into the top cabinet, and that will be opened/closed via a linear actuator and hidden hinges. The chair is a deconstructed office chair that I built onto a custom stand that will be removable from the sides. When everything is done I'm painting it with a "hammered metal" paint and I've drafted my wife to use her Cricut to cut out test squadron stencils to paint in yellow. I'm doing everything out of 1/2" and 1/4" MDF (recycled toilet paper) because it's cheap and easy to work with.

I completely disagree!!! Yours looks way better. Yours is built as a real sim pit with custom controls, rig and sound integrated, really awesome:beers::beers::beers::beers:.
I build mine to be functional, everything adjustable. I started building in february, when I finally had all stuff together. Still working on some details like where to place my cheap hobby subwoofer.

When everything is done I'm painting it with a "hammered metal" paint and I've drafted my wife to use her Cricut to cut out test squadron stencils to paint in yellow.
Very very very interested  is the Cricut Letter or Ledger?

European system for paper format is A5, A4, A3, A2.... A0. 2x A4 = A3, 2x A3 = A2

The US format for A4 is Letter, I googled and found ledger or tabloid.
Oh... paper size. So her machine can cut a design up to 12 imperial units wide, and up to 72" long. I'm not sure what size I want the stencil to be yet, but I'm probably going to use the yellow jacket design and then have her cut out little Explor emblems to put on the sides like kill markers used On the fighters/bombers in WWII.
