Since the Cutlass black, along with the other final 4 should never have been allowed to compete this year, I'm hoping that the Valk will slit the Cutlass black's throat to send it into the abyss along with the black's fanboys dreams of it winning this year.
It won't matter... the Carrack will clean either of their clocks. But I'm happy either way, I bought my ships for reasons... some of which I can't remember... but they were there.
Had to laugh out loud at that. I'm totally in that boat. Glad I am in good company!
Since its obvious what ship will take today's win there's only one thing left to do:
14 hours have elapsed and the Valkyries lead extends to 1859 more than the Cutlass.

Original post updated! The Valkyrie proves itself to be a Giant Slayer as it sends the Cutlass, one of the darlings of last year, home in pieces!
But now, the Final, the Valkyrie stands in front of not so much a Giant, as a Mountain: The Carrack, the ship of love, the ship of life, the ship of GIB - the craft so many waited so long for and which did not disappoint when it made its debut!

Nine and a half hours to go, and some would say it's a full gone conclusion already, the Carrack commanding 3x the votes of the Valkyrie.
This match was concluderd yesterday as soon as it goes live: Carrack has so far always gain a fraking amount of support, all well deserved IMHO.
This match was concluded when the Carrack was listed on the roster.

The competition is done! And I'll say with no surprise about the winner with almost 3 time the vote of the opponent...

"Prizes for the Final Four will be revealed soon, and the #1 ship will have a bonus prize. So keep voting, and remember to fly the top ships in the ‘verse before the Ship Showdown free fly event ends on September 23! "
What does that mean exactly? I'm confused since the store does not show them anymore since yesterday, but the competition was not over yet until today. I though it would meant some shiny standalone ships :) Can someone enlight me? ;)

I think the next time they'll be available now is the IAE.
The only ship I was interested in grabbing fell out of the competition before payday, so I get to eat this month :)

I am satisfied. 3 of 2 (keep reading) ships I own made it into the final 4, and one was the Carrack... the other two are Cutlass Black's (still not sure how that happened. I'll deal with it in November.)
