I have only tested it on Yela and Daymar, so different atmo. On Daymar it can hardly go fast, on Yela it is better.
I started from Crusader so I was constantly boosting full power on engine to leave atmo, around 300-400 max in Crusader atmo. I havent tried in space for top speed yet.
Without the numbers in mind, I'd say the impression is the same as a Connie for speed.

The only plus I like for the ship is that their is no big inertia when steering it, if you stop turning, the nose will quickly stop turning, not like with a Connie.

There are 2 additional seats each side of the pilot seat, and each seat is controlling a remote turret.

Very Surprising that both the turrets are in the rear. Does the ventral turret have a fire arc forward or does the belly get in the way? Have you measured the rotation rates? Is it less nimble than the MSR? Is there a second elevator? Rumor was separate cargo and vehicle lifts.
You can pretty much cover 360 with both turrets (especially the bottom one), but some parts of the ship obviously are in the way. Of course the rear is the best covered angle.

Many thanks, that'd be about 900m/s in the void. Not exactly standing still but also no records, a wing of Hornets won't have an issue keeping pace. The other thing to take into account with speed however is acceleration.

The 350r probably has the best I've seen anywhere, it's better than the Herald from a standing start although the Herald beats it in maximum. I'd hope if the 400 can't keep threats away from it it can at least get up to speed quickly... sometimes a few seconds of being 200m/s faster than what is chasing you is enough to get you out of weapons range for long enough to get the QD online and your ass out of the frying pan.

Any idea about the pitch and yaw rotation rates? They're what makes the pilot guns useful or not. Vanguard, Cutties and Lancers are about 65-90, the low end there only just manageable. Connies are about 25, which requires them to sport gimbaled weapons or just get lucky someone flew in front of them. It's a measure of degrees/second so easy to measure yourself.

Doesn't look like a GreyCat will fit.

I am again struck by the massive misuse of space, especially in the components room; and why the hell doesn't this have several gunracks? So disappointing. Still, it is a great buy, but WTF CIG? Do you need someone to hold your hand when you do interiors? This ship is supposed to have an armory and they didn't even give it a gunrack? Tell me I missed it.

She's on erkul. With everything shut down, she is inexplicably 16k EM too high. Looks like they ruined this ship.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Stats for ships change all the time.

Could be. It certainly makes no sense that the MSR powered down has an EM of 200 and this has an EM of 20,000.

There is a six-rifle rack just aft of the gravity generator on the starboard side. That's better than nothing, but I'd like to see gunracks and lockers on the bulkhead behind the two rear seats on the bridge.

I am crestfallen however, that they would even consider building something like this with no gunracks after saying it would have an armory. I'm hoping the walkthrough missed it.
There is a gun rack in the airlock isn't there? It's in the wardrobe bit, one of the four is a retractable gun rack and the other three are for suits?

Yes, I just found it. Thanks!

One of the reasons I eschew small fighters is their inability to store the simplest things. Given most people carry full-sized weapons most of the time, and a well equipped ship for three in addition would be carrying at least 1 railgun, 1 grenade launcher, 1 Light Machine Gun, 1 Sniper Rifle, 1 missile launcher, and one stun weapon, there needs to be a real armory. Add pistols, shotguns, SMGs, and all the ammo, and you really want to see a real armory.

This can manage, but I think you'll still end up with cargo baskets on the floor on the bridge and down here holding weapons, grenades, healing, multi-tools, knives, etc. There is nowhere to display your Vanduul Plasma Lance. I have never seen CIG put enough small storage into a ship. Every time you get out of the crew seats on the bridge you should be thinking about what you need to be carrying, so there needs to be small item storage on the bridge, IMHO. I would keep multi-tools on the bridge and in the air lock.

The reports on the missiles were incorrect: 2 S2 launchers and 2 S1 launchers, all bespoke. 8 shots each. Capable but not a warbird. With 8 shots you need someone launching every time your target is in range.

So what do you think is that small compartment under each bed? Is that where you hide your holocron?

Back on the stealth issue--I have to hope Aramsolari is right and the EM on erkul is just a mistake. If it is, this is certainly the stealthiest medium ship thus far with an IR of just 8700. With stealth switch knocking this down to 6k, that is a 3 km passive detection range for a small ship. You can run drugs with this, just like the 315P.

If this handles decently, could become my new favorite. Gotta know if those fixed S4s up front are useful that way.

One thing I think they really need to change: it is supposed to be an explorer and has half the range of the MSR. That's not cool. It should have 50% greater range than the MSR, which means 3 medium tanks instead of 1. I am also disappointed the G12 does not fit on the cargo ramp. That seems a bad mistake to me. I will note that the vid above shows an X1 Force on the vehicle lift, and that lift is not more than 2.5 meters long. Certainly it is not the 5.5 meters long the specs page says for the X1, so it appears the X1 is going to fit inside the Vanguard series.

I would love it if the escape pods could be modded to hold prisoners. That would make this an epic bounty ship. I would likewise trade the pods out for more fuel tank. Does anyone here like pods?

This is surprising to me. Visually the NOX is about the same size as the X1. I was certain that they would be interchangeable.
It was clipping when we tried, though it is also my feeling that the Nox should fit inside. They will probably fix that.

Originally NOX did fit then they moved the hangar to the front for contrived reason (they say it's cos you couldn't have entered through the hangar and would have had to go around... why??? It's an imaginary spaceship, just adda fuckin door mate!)

So yeah, I thought this ship could be my little mid-game goal if it could carry a ROC or something cool like the NOX, but now I'm kinda dissapointed.

This ship does give me hope that when they do the gold pass on the 600i it gets a much-deserved rework of the interior. Right now it carries 40 SCU but there is no way to get an SCU box up the elevator in the touring (explorer has the garage lift).

Its got more 30% more range than a 600 I and 10% less range than an Aquilla (fag packet maths sorry).

The Nox and X1 are the same size in the specs page, but the Nox has never looked 5.5M long to me. I have always thought it would fit in the back of most Vanguard but don't know anyone who has checked.

IMHO, the X1 Force is the best grav bike. It has a second shield generator and better sensors, so qualifies as the go to. That Bronze X1 in the vid was an X1 Force, so they must have built part of the model.
