The flight training is for light / medium fighters, brevity, formation, procedure, tactics, but when you bring a big ship, then escort missions will give the escorts a nice challenge when doing ICC or comm array missions. It changes the course of a training mission.
During the summer pauze we also used to do escort missions. Even I have flown a Starfarer on the ICC missions (for the first time). When I had to land on Olisar to finalize the mission, everybody was waiting in vain for a truly TEST landing.... nothing... I just put the starfarer manual down on the pad without a bump.
In true TEST tradition: Always leave them wanting moar!

As a former grunt, with some claim to a Scottish Castle (not sure how good a claim. LOL) and, in a King Ralph Scenario, in line to the Throne of England, I only have this to add about US military training:
The US has only had 73 years of peace throughout the entire history of the country. We're just good at wars (or bad at ending them).
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Americans have a plan even if they get punched in the face and normally that involves headbutting the enemy's fist.

Now being serious. I would love to take part of it but I alwais forget about it or I'm out of home. I f we had a calendar on the forum with the test events and activities on it like the Combat Flight Training and TEST streamers.....
