Pretty sure anyone can infiltrate us. So it doesn't matter. There is one constant: "mess with the bull, you get the horns".well i think we have until insurance starts to run out on the exploration ships we own to figure out exactly where we need to be. wiether we need to push people out of our home or not we will find out when we get there.
and at the same time, if we make plans here and now on a public forum... thats just asking adi and the corp to come screw with us when pu launches.
true but i do prefer to pick fights on my own terms. i plan on leading a full scale attack on a certain group once pu goes livePretty sure anyone can infiltrate us. So it doesn't matter. There is one constant: "mess with the bull, you get the horns".
That is to say, you'd have to be immensely stupid to pick a fight with an army of drunks.
So we find a bengal carrier and name it "Outer Heaven"?Hades. We're already demons, aren't we?
As long as we have an Argos named Pequod, and we start referring to Montoya as AhabSo we find a bengal carrier and name it "Outer Heaven"?
TEST math at it's finest. I give it a 12 out of 3.Already analyzing! I have identified three possible candidates thus far, in order of appeal from top to bottom as-numbered - the criteria is more connections, providing greater accessibility for our members:
- Nyx System - Connects to The Tanga System (high value resource), and Odin (high value resource, black market weapons). Also within 3 jumps of Terra. Linked to Tohil, Bremen, Pyro, and Castra.
- Davien - Connects directly to Sol, Cano, Kilian, Cathcart, and Ferron. An excellent Corporate Headquarters and Logistics Headquarters that leads to all corners of the UEE.
- Goss System - Connects to Osiris, Tyrol, Helios, Tayac, and Terra. Major hotbed of pirate activity, good for UEE missioning, probably?
- Elysium - Connects to Leir, Vanguard, Centauri, and Idris Systems. Appears to be a hotbed of economic activity with its strong connection to Centauri (which is a "Factory world" run by MISC).
- Idris - Connects to Garron, Rhetor, Ferron, and Elysium.
- Banshee - Connects to Tamsa, Yulin, Fora, Garron, and Leir. Strictly a UEE mining operation system, with abundant scientific activities. Do not expect security.
- Fora - Connects to Banshee, Nemo, and Rhetor. Most likely to have undiscovered jump points. Barely lawless, may be a good "GTFO" destination.
- Leir System - Connects to Vanguard (Vanduul), Elysium, Kabal, Garron, Banshee, and Yulin. Is 100% lawless system.
- Castra - A frontline world near the Perry Line. Connects to Nyx, Pyro, Oya, and Hadrian. Part of the Castra-Stanton run, good for newbies.
- Nexus System - Connects to Min, Hades, Cathcart, and Ellis. Part of a major trade route.
- Terra - One of the most numerous jump connections recorded, Six jump links, three large, two medium, two small. Right next door to Stanton.
- Hadrian - NOPE, SUPER-HIGH SECURITY. Lots of connections, though.
Oh thank you , I forgot all about this, + 5 Internet's!we could make a moon base? but doing that we would have to watch out for bears...
You could be right about that - AFAIK they haven't said either way. To me, though, "stable" doesn't necessarily mean "permanent".The only problem with what you said is the bit on JPs. The ones listed on the map, as far as I know, are stable JPs, as in they won't change.
It would, except that this isn't actually natural phenomena - there are "gods" of this verse, and they plan things. I suspect they will switch things up, while keeping things operable. Not having stable JPs would make interstellar trade almost impossible.
Right. I'd rather select a UEE system that has a reputation for being adjacent to a low-security system, or having low security itself. Systems like Fora, Cano, Charon, etc.You could be right about that - AFAIK they haven't said either way. To me, though, "stable" doesn't necessarily mean "permanent".

Again, though, you could be right.. the JPs we know about could be 100% permanent. I'd still submit that new ones will pop up all the time, leading other places.. some good, some bad. We might find ourselves "next door" to Vanduul homeworld, or the juiciest asteroid belt ever discovered. My overall point was - they are a variable that cannot be fully accounted for. As such, IMO, they shouldn't have a huge impact on this choice of a home base. They could steer us wrong.
They have said that yes, but they have said that about other jump points. They have said that there are stable jump points that are constant but might need "remapped" in that they fluctuate and need the path threw them updated. Other jump points (the ones we discover) will change place, come and go, only be open for a certain time then close. We can also find ones that are stable to new systems.1 - "Neighboring" systems could be meaningless. Disregard. JPs will come and go, we know this. New JPs could lead to/from anywhere.
